Do our documents leave the office?
Your files and search index stay on your PC or in the folder you've added. In Recommended mode, only text or voice recordings travel over an encrypted connection through filespal.com to OpenAI, with Mistral AI as a fallback. We don't store that content or use it for training. In Private mode, everything stays local. See our Privacy Policy.
What does FilesPal cost?
FilesPal is free for personal use, with 100 documents and 300 answers per month. Businesses get a free 30-day trial. After that, Business costs $15 per user per month, plus applicable sales tax. See Pricing.
How do we roll out FilesPal to the team?
Anyone can install FilesPal without administrator rights. IT can also deploy it silently with a license and set the AI mode through Group Policy. Learn more on our Business page.
How do we cancel?
Cancel anytime, effective at the end of your billing period, in the customer portal or on our cancellation page.
Is FilesPal available for Mac?
An older Mac version is available on the Pricing page. Everything described here refers to the Windows app.
